The alert reached my bank’s fraud department before I left my parents’ driveway. Because the account contained restricted company equity and federally regulated investments, the counterfeit identification and unauthorized login were automatically escalated to investigators. Every keystroke, device signature, timestamp, and attempted transfer had already been preserved.

My parents tried moving $280,000 into an account Bianca had opened days earlier. The transaction never cleared. Instead, every connected account was frozen while investigators reviewed the evidence.

The following morning, officers arrived with copies of the counterfeit ID, security logs, and audio from dinner. My father claimed I had given him permission. My recording captured him admitting they had created the identification because I would “never cooperate voluntarily.” My mother was heard discussing how much Bianca would receive before they even logged in.

Bianca insisted she knew nothing, but messages on her phone showed she had selected the apartment, vehicle, and business she planned to purchase with my money.

My parents were charged with identity theft, attempted wire fraud, and conspiracy. Bianca was included after investigators found she had paid for the counterfeit document.

They called me cruel for allowing them to proceed.

I reminded them that I had not placed their hands on my computer or told them to impersonate me. I had only protected myself against a crime they freely chose to commit.

For years, they taught me to surrender whatever Bianca wanted.

That night, they finally learned my security systems did not recognize favoritism as authorization.
