The Crash Exposed Eleven Fake HOA Violations

The impact sounded like a metal cabinet being dropped from a truck. Darlene’s Navigator stopped instantly, its rear bumper badly damaged, while my reinforced container remained upright. I did not celebrate. I saved the camera footage, downloaded the accelerometer data, and called my attorney. He also advised me not to leave the reinforced setup in place while liability was being reviewed, so I removed it that afternoon and preserved it as evidence instead of turning the dispute into something dangerous.

What mattered was everything the collision uncovered. The HOA board finally reviewed my recordings alongside all eleven violation notices. Each fine had been issued shortly after Darlene struck or scattered my trash herself. Several neighbors then came forward with their own complaints about selective enforcement. The workers she later sent onto my property admitted they had been told the HOA already had legal authority to remove the container, even though no such authorization existed.

The board suspended Darlene from enforcement duties while its attorney reviewed the fines. Mine were eventually withdrawn, and the HOA reimbursed the documented cleanup costs and damage tied to the repeated incidents. Darlene’s vehicle claim was left to the insurers to sort out based on the footage and circumstances.

She had spent months telling everyone my trash was the neighborhood problem.

One loud collision finally showed them who kept creating the mess.
